I was on the road home from a successful photo shoot on the BC coast. I was just getting comfortable in the driver's seat of my pickup truck, listening to music. All of a sudden, I thought I saw a large bird dive out of the sky and take something down to the ground.

In that moment, it felt like everything was in slow motion, and my heart started beating hard and fast. A split second later, I said to myself, "STOP the truck!"

In a state of disbelief, I backed up, grabbed my camera, and was filled with a rush of excitement when I discovered a bald eagle subduing its prey.
